My Teddy Bear Collection

If I hadn't told you, I have a rather large collection of Teddy Bears. Susan, being the most important to me, is the one in the middle. The light blue patient outfit she is wearing was chosen by Rose after I got out of the ward.

I had another bear, 'Susan' but I think I since lost her in the many times I have changed addresses since.

Also, I did donate pretty close to 2-dozen to the last Church Bazaar we had in the Parish Hall a few months back. What I've kept are those given to me as gifts and those which hold a special meaning to me.

And this is not the whole collection. It extends down the long table for another few feet or so (I couldn't get them all in the shot without losing the focus of Susan). And there is a reason why they give me such comfort, but that's another story.

While I haven't named them all, the one to the right of Susan, resting on her back in the sparkly purple snowflake dress is Elisabeth. Meredith is waaay at the top of Susan, which Rose gave me recently in a pretty sun bonnet. And Humphrey, the biggest one, about 2-feet tall, is on the couch downstairs. I haven't photographed him yet.
